Just two matches were played yesterday at the Netball Stadium in the Pine Hill Dairy-sponsored National Sports Council’s Primary Schools Netball Tournament and St Mary’s were featured in both games.
In their first encounter St Mary’s faced off against George Lamming and won 4-1 and the former champions also came up against Westbury Primary who they defeated 6-2.
St Mary’s led the first half 5-1 but only managed to add another goal in the final period. Goal-attack Tamia Duke-Woodall scored three goals from five attempts and goal-shooter Teliya Callender three from six. Westbury’s goal-attack Abianna Burrowes and goal-shooter Fadedra Deshong netted one goal each.

In the other game against George Lamming, Duke-Woodall and Callender scored two goals each for St Mary’s who led the first half 3-1. George Lamming’s goal-shooter Jada Hall managed to put one into the nets.
